On Monday, June 30, in Berkeley, noted nature and environmental authors Michael Pollan and Paul Hawken -- both anthologized in the new Library of America collection American Earth: Environmental Writing Since Thoreau -- will sit in conversation with Earthjustice senior editor Tom Turner.

American Earth has been hailed as "much-needed" and recommended for the "sheer beauty of the writing." This is your chance to hear two of the contributors discuss the need for environmental and nature writing, and its place in the future of the environmental movement.

American Earth will be available for purchase. A reception with the panelists will immediately follow the discussion.
